God of War series

So, what do you think about the series so far? And how is your antisipation for GOW III?

Personally, I've only played Chains of Olympus, but that was quite a fun game. If I wasn't at University, then I would proberly try and get the other two games thus far.

The PS2 are A LOT better than the PSP game. Definitely worth waiting for the GoW collection on PS3 though now. As for III, I've just played the demo and its fantastic. One of Sony's best series easily IMO.

Definitely pre ordering III as soon as we get a confirmed date here in UK!

I don't have a PS3, so that's out of the question for me.

What makes the other two better then the PSP one?

Well in hat case might as well get the PS2 ones but 3 is coming out in March.

The PS2 ones have a different developer (the original team behind the series) but its just the same but on a bigger scale and much more epic.

I didn't like the first game at first though but in the end I loved it.

I have not played much of the GoW series. I will probably try the demo when it releases but there are many more appealing games coming out that will be taking my attention during early 2010. My free time has been very limited lately due to college along with moving. Honestly I am not very hyped for GoW 3 because the plot does not look great. Looks like a fine action game if that's what you want.

Yeah there isn't much of a story but the gameplay is definitely worth it in this series.

EDIT: Here is the demo, and is one of the best demos I've ever played. Obviously its very gory so don't watch if you don't like (since a head gets pulled off):

The God of War franchise is a series of action-adventure games available on Sony PlayStation consoles. It chronicles the exploits of the anti-hero Kratos and his quest for revenge on the Greek Gods for the death of his family.
